Event Calendar Overview
The “Event Calendar Overview” feature offers a centralized view for property managers managing multiple districts. The feature allows them to seamlessly view all public and private events organized through Planet App in each district, directly from the organization’s Outlook ecosystem.
Outlook Configurations:
- Creation of Rooms: Rooms must be set up in the organization Outlook, one for each district managed by the property manager. These Rooms act as virtual spaces in Outlook, allowing events to be scheduled without Microsoft licenses fees.
Room Configurations:
- Event details such as location, description, and time shall be configured as visible within each Room.
- Concurrent events scheduling for the same time slot shall be configured, ensuring no event is automatically deleted due to overlap.
Email Integration:
- Each district’s Room is linked with a specific email address, allowing Planet App to automatically push event data to Outlook calendar.
Key Features
Outlook Integration: Events organized through Planet App and approved via Planet Back Office are automatically synced with the Outlook calendar. Deletions and edit of the activity in Planet App are reflected in real-time on Outlook.
Global Event View: Users can view both public and private events of all districts. Calendar view can be customized (daily, weekly, monthly) as per Outlook possible configurations:
-
- View event details such as the organizer, description, date, time, location, and event type.
- Notifications are sent when an event is created or deleted, directly to the email associated with each district’s calendar.
- Any user can add district event calendars to their own Outlook for easy access.
