Planet Holding, the global leader in smart, affordable housing will showcase at Mipim, the leading real estate conference, how the value of real estate assets can be increased by applying smart solutions in brownfield and greenfield projects.
Designing and building cities and projects that foster relationships and reshape life in communities, Planet applies a holistic approach to make projects smart, integrating architecture, urban planning, sustainability, digital technologies and social innovation. This global vision can be seen in practice at Mipim, held in Cannes, in France, from the 12th to 15th March – at Stand R7.D1 and at the talk “Smart Real Estate!” on 14th March, in the room Debussy from 10 am.
At Mipim, visitors will be able to learn more about Smart City Laguna’s unique features and the solutions Planet have integrated into the project. This will be shown through an augmented reality installation designed by Planet, especially for the event. The installation will be presented at the Palladium Group stand, one of Planet’s key partners in Europe.

Smart City Laguna
The first affordable smart city in the world built on 330 acres of land, providing 6,000 homes, commercial and industrial units. The city is expected to host 25,000 inhabitants. Laguna is in an advanced stage of construction in São Gonçalo do Amarante, Ceará, 50 km from Fortaleza, Brazil.

Planet App
A control panel for smart citizens, the Planet App, which can be downloaded for free, integrates different solutions, such as energy consumption monitoring, booking and management of services – bike sharing, car sharing, library – and features security functionalities such as the SOS button and real-live cameras of communal areas. The tool allows the creation of groups and communities for a more inclusive environment.
